Rockwood Custom Homes used ZS2 TechPanel® for the walls, floors, and roof, creating a fully integrated building envelope from top to bottom. Manufactured with magnesium cement, TechPanel® provides a durable, moisture-resistant assembly while supporting improved fire resilience and thermal performance.
Beyond performance, speed of construction was another key benefit. The building envelope was prefabricated, flat-packed, shipped to site, and assembled by a five-person crew in only six days. This panelized approach reduced onsite complexity, minimized material waste, and demonstrated how offsite manufacturing can support efficient delivery without sacrificing quality. The project required no waste trucks during installation, further highlighting the efficiency of the construction process.
