acquires IPB Systems
June 16, 2021 – Calgary, AB – ZS2 Technologies, a fast-growing Calgary cleantech company announced today the acquisition of IPB Systems, western Canada’s leading provider of pre-manufactured structurally insulated panels.
The founders of IPB have been manufacturing structurally insulated panels (SIPs) in Northern British Columbia since 2002, with a solid track record of over 1,500 of SIP buildings designed and sold.

Terry Moser, Co-Founder at IPB Systems is joining ZS2 Technologies as Director of Construction. IPB’s SIP manufacturing facility will be relocated to the ZS2 TechCentre in Calgary—effectively doubling ZS2’s manufacturing capacity.
“We’ve been working with ZS2 Technologies to develop leading-edge SIPs using their magnesium oxysulfate TechBoard since their inception over a year ago,” says Moser. “We immediately saw the opportunity this superior sheathing material has over traditional wood products and it’s been exciting to be part of developing ZS2 TechPanels.
