Go Build 2023
ZS2 Technologies is one of six startups selected to participate in Go Build 2023 a Greentown Go program accelerating the commercialization of technologies to decarbonize the built environment. This exclusive program—forged through a strategic collaboration between Greentown Labs, the largest climatetech incubator in North America, and Saint-Gobain, a multinational powerhouse in construction and industrial materials—is poised to accelerate startup-corporate partnerships dedicated to advancing circularity and decarbonization.
This is another huge acceleration in ZS2’s momentum to decarbonize the construction industry alongside powerhouse partners and organizations.
At the heart of this collaborative initiative is the industry influence of Saint-Gobain, a multinational giant with a rich legacy in manufacturing and distributing materials for the construction and industrial markets. Saint-Gobain’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in the built environment positions them as a key influencer in driving industry-wide change. Securing over €51.2 billion in sales in 2022, and with locations in 75 countries, Saint-Goban is making huge strides in their commitment of achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2050. Together we can come recognize our shared visions to “Making the World a Better Home” by “Building a Better Planet.”
Out of a highly competitive pool of more than 100 applicants from 27 countries, ZS2 Technologies, emerged as a trailblazer in magnesium-based advanced building products and our proprietary carbon capture and utilization technology.
Our team will engage in a six-month program working closely with Saint-Gobain to explore potential collaborations, including investment opportunities, development partnerships, and commercial agreements. The program, designed to offer a comprehensive support system, includes mentorship, networking opportunities, educational workshops, and partnership-focused programming. The time is now to build smarter and leverage climate technology to balance both sustainability and climate resilience in the built environment. To decarbonize the construction industry, we need innovations that reinvent how buildings and their materials are planned, built, sourced, and managed. Together we face a universal challenge that will take collaborative action to drive change at scale. The team at ZS2 continues to be at the forefront.
