Shortly after its inception, the New Mexico United soccer team quickly solidified its status as a community icon across the state. As this growth continued, the necessity for a comprehensive facility that could cater to the diverse needs of the players and staff became paramount. This focus on building infrastructure not only supported the team’s aspirations but also contributed to the enhancement of community livelihood.
Improve Group, a ZS2TechPartner, undertook the challenge to quickly build a 2,400 sq. ft. training center next to the team’s field during the short off-season using ZS2 TechPanels.
From initial design to occupation, the New Mexico United team was in their new facility in just 38 days.
Featuring a training room, equipment room, locker room, coach offices, and a film room, the construction solution incorporated a prefabricated building envelope, chosen for its speed, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness compared to traditional on-site construction methods.
ZS2 TechPanel walls and roof were assembled in only 5 days, ZS2 TechBoard was used for high moisture areas like bathrooms and showers where its antimicrobial properties and water resistance would create a healthy, durable space.
With an energy saving R-value 30 insulation value, New Mexico United not only got their new training centre quickly, but they’ll be saving 50% on their energy use so they can invest more into winning championships.
