Long-time board member to continue supporting ZS2’s strategic growth and momentum in new leadership role
November 16, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta – ZS2 Technologies Ltd. “ZS2” is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Roesler as Chair of the Board of Directors. As an investor in ZS2, Roesler joined the Board of Directors in 2022, after having served as an Advisory Board member since 2021.
Roesler is currently CEO of Roesler and Associates, a consultancy firm that works with private, public, government and indigenous stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions on some of North America’s leading sustainability and capacity building initiatives.
Former Board Chair and ZS2 CEO, Scott Jenkins, stated “I am extremely grateful for all the work with respect to environmental, social and governance initiatives being led by Ms. Roesler. Her experience working with public and privately owned organizations such as Infrastructure Ontario, CLEAResult, BC Hydro and Canadian Pacific Railway have been invaluable to ZS2.” Further, Jenkins commented, “The incredible support of our entire Board of Directors on developing and commercializing truly sustainable construction materials has been unwavering and Ms. Roesler will help us strategically lead these efforts into the future.”

Roesler brings 25 years of senior corporate experience in the utility, energy, and infrastructure industries. She holds an MBA specializing in Sustainable Development from the University of Calgary and a B.Sc. Honours degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Alberta. She has developed and led large teams in business transformation and technology-driven strategy development and execution in the areas of infrastructure-building, energy efficiency and emissions reduction programming, corporate social responsibility, and climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Concurrent with the appointment of Roesler, the Board of Directors also approved the creation of an Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and Governance Committee of the Board of Directors. Derek Payne, CPA was appointed Audit Committee Chairperson, David Richardson was appointed Compensation Committee Chairperson and Roesler will serve as Chairperson of the Governance Committee.
